Alicyn Craig concentrates her practice in a broad range of environmental-related matters. She has significant experience in all areas of environmental law from regulatory advice to complex litigation. This includes an expansive litigation practice, in both federal and state courts, with an emphasis on soil and groundwater contamination litigation as well as state agency cost recovery actions. She represents her clients’ interests before the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New York Department of Environmental Conservation in environmental compliance matters, and has extensive experience negotiating investigation, remediation, allocation and purchase and sale agreements related to contaminated properties, including retail service stations, terminals and refineries. Alicyn also oversees the firm’s environmental group that negotiates off-site access for environmental investigations and remediations as well as private party cost recovery claims.
In addition to her environmental law practice, Alicyn enjoys a diverse docket of employment discrimination matters, and has extensive litigation experience defending corporate entities from claims under New Jersey’s Law
Against Discrimination, the New Jersey Family Leave Act, and the discrimination-related federal statutes including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.

After completing a clerkship with the New Jersey Appellate Division’s Hon. Ariel A. Rodriguez, for the 2000-2001 court term, Alicyn joined MARC in 2001. Alicyn was named a partner in January 2008. She is an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law School, teaching Appellate Advocacy.
