John McCusker represents corporate and individual clients, including several Fortune 500 corporations in the petroleum and pharmaceutical industry, in matters concerning Employment Discrimination, Environmental issues and remediation, and complex Commercial Litigation. In the employment context, he defends clients against claims of discrimination, retaliation, ERISA, and EEOC violations, as well as claims brought by employees through the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division.

John is an experienced trial attorney who has tried numerous civil and criminal cases in New York and New Jersey. John first established his reputation for detail, persistence, enduring work ethic, and fine trial skills during his years as a prosecutor at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office where he tried over 40 felony cases from 1982-1990, most notable was that he co-tried the case of People v. Joel Steinberg. John often teaches Trial Advocacy, including at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
